How FileHint handles data and third-party services.

This site is operated by Netwiz LLC(Japanese legal name: ネットウィズ合同会社). "We" and "the operator" in this policy refer to Netwiz LLC.
1. Data we collect
FileHint has no user accounts. We do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers unless you explicitly send them to us.
- Access logs: IP address, user agent, visit timestamp, and referrer (anonymized).
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4): anonymized pageview and session data with IP anonymization enabled.
- Advertising (Google AdSense): personalized ad delivery via cookies.
2. How the File Signature Checker handles data
The File Signature Checker runs entirely inside your browser. File contents are never transmitted to our servers, and FileHint does not receive them.
3. Cookies
We use cookies for (a) remembering your language preference, (b) Google Analytics 4 for usage analytics, and (c) Google AdSense for advertising. Disabling cookies in your browser will not prevent you from reading the site but may affect locale detection.

This site serves personalized ads via Google AdSense. See Google's advertising policies for how Google handles the data. You can opt out via Ad Settings.
